Part 1 covers the outbound leg of a flight from Amsterdam Schipol to Palma de Mallorca. The pre-departure briefing and the departure itself is covered in particular detail, and once in the cruise the various advanced electronic flight deck systems are explained, including the Flight Management Computer (FMC) and Flight Management System (FMS), culminating in the descent, approach and landing into Palma de Mallorca.
