| One of the greatest names in the history of the British bus industry, the Birmingham & Midland Motor Omnibus Co - Midland Red - was formed in 1904. The company grew to become one of the most important regional operators of buses, dominating rural services through much of the West and East Midlands and urban services in places such as Shrewsbury, Leamington Spa, Lichfield and Stratford-upon-Avon.
This title concentrates on the background to the day-to-day operations of the company.
