Two long branch lines which served the china clay industry are explored. Further west, little known and rarely photographed branch lines in the copper and tin mining region are studied.
The mainly unpublished photographs range from long abandoned trackbeds to lines that are in current use.
The author spent his working life in the china clay industry and took many photographs.
