A photographic portfolio of Southern Region steam locomotives at a variety of locations around the region from Waterloo out to Weymouth, including Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight. These are views from the 1960s with ex-Southern, BR Standards, ex-LMS and ex-GWR engines all appearing.
All are from the camera of the author, who provides detailed captions for the quality previously unpublished images, bringing back an era in railway history which, for the Southern, ended in July 1967.
