The western extremity of God's Wonderful Railway presented many varied and interesting scenes. Illustrated are several branch junctions, much evidence of former mineral workings, seasonal fruit and vegetable traffic and, most importantly, the superb scenery that necessitated so many extra holiday trains.
Once part of the Great Western Railway (GWR) empire, this route remains full of character and continues to attract the attention of enthusiasts and historians.
