The GWR`s Plymouth - Launceston route carried mineral traffic in its early years, agricultural items for most of its life and milk to its last day. Passengers were few in number, except at holiday time. This applied also to the loss-making branch onto the bleak flank of Dartmoor. Part of the Lee Moor Tramway is also featured.
