This book covers in detail the GER (Great Eastern Railway) 2-4-2Ts. In GER days the classes were known as "32", "M15", "G69" and "Crystal Palace Tanks".
The F9 2-4-2T was different in that the LNER acquired them when it took over the CVHR (Colne Valley & Halstead Railway). They had been built by Hawthorn Leslie in 1887 and the last of them was withdrawn in 1930.
