In the five years since the publication of the author's previous book 'Railways of Stourbridge' a great deal of new information has been collected, and it is presented in this volume.
This is a look at the life on the Great Western Railway at Stourbridge Junction and Town stations, the marshalling yards at Stourbridge Junction and other yards in the area. The Halesowen branch from Old Hill is covered, the line having been used rail / canal interchange traffic in later years.
Reminiscences of many railwaymen from a variety of grades are included.
