The western extremity of God`s Wonderful Railway (the Great Western Railway) presented many varied and interesting scenes. Illustrated are several branch junctions, much evidence of former mineral workings, seasonal fruit and vegetable traffic and, most importantly, the superb scenery that necessitated so many extra holiday trains.
