Frank Raymond Williams (Ray to his friends) was an active railway photographer from 1935 until the outbreak of the Second World War.
He largely concentrated on moving trains and loco portraits and this album provides an evocative high-quality record of what he saw primarily on the Western and Midland Divisions of the LMS.
