This South Eastern Railway branch was an intrusion into the territories of two other railway companies and thus it presented many different features. These are all recorded, along with the quarry railways and holiday trains of a bygone age. This delightfully scenic route is fully illustrated and historic maps are provided for every station, along with the tickets and timetables from the past.
