Sub-Titled: 50 years of change
Regarded as one of the foremost Heritage railways, the Swanage Railway Company carried its first passengers on the 6th August 1979,a mere seven years after the line officially closed. This second new title from Middleton now looks at the demise of steam, the introduction of diesels and closure of the line, and then concentrates on the efforts to reopen and develop the line, concluding with the through running of Virgin Voyager, No 220018,on 8th September 2002.
