There are scenes at York depot in the days before the building became the National Railway Museum (NRM), and the arrivals and departures at York station are viewed.
There are scenes at Church Fenton, shunting at York civil engineer's yard, industrial locomotives at Poppleton and Holgate cattle dock, where we see Billy Smart's circus train being unloaded.
