Filmed in 1995 we set out to trace the history of this beautiflil little branch. Nearly 25 minutes of cine film show the branch as most people remember it with an M7 shuttling back and forth between the terminus and Seaton Junction. When we arrive at the junction we can sample the delights of the main line with all manner of express and local workings passing through.
When the branch closed and all seemed doomed to destruction and dereliction Modern Electric Tramways bought the trackbed and started the now famous Seaton Tramway.
Superb archive cine film shows the tramway in its early days at Eastbourne and subsequently at Seaton before we explore the achievements that today have created one of southern England's most memorable attractions.
