Filmed in 1994 the Famous branch line from Axminster to Lyme Regis is explored in depth. Over 15 minutes of superb archive cine film allows us to see the Adam's Radial Tanks at work on the route as well as the Ivatt 2MT tanks in the last days of steam on the branch.
The highlight of the film is a section of cine film taken by Vic Mitchell's father in 1943 (Vic Mitchell founded Middleton Press). The beauty of the countryside and the charm of the railway and its ancient locomotives make for a most memorable film.
