Archive cine film from the 1960s showcases steam locomotives from the Great Western Railway (GWR), London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMSR) and the BR Standard classes. Also shows the last diesel hauled specials at Cheltenham Racecourse station in 1968.
The locations for these scenes are on the former GWR route between Cheltenham and Stratford-on-Avon via Toddington (now a preservation site) and Honeybourne, plus connecting lines.
