Canadian National's passage through Canada's Rocky Mountains is through Yellowhead Pass. Yellowhead Pass proper is west of the Great Divide in British Columbia, but we follow the Yellowhead route from Hinton, Alberta (mp 184) on the Edson subdivision to Taverna BC (mp 20) on the Robson subdivision via Red Pass (mp 43).
Filmed in June 1999 to bring you splendid images of hard working power in superb scenery.
The 'Canadian', the best looking passenger train around and its baby sister 'The Skeena', make appearances together with CN's unusual power; cowl body EMDs and GEs and new SD75Is and C44-9Ws.
This is an area of great natural beauty, a great portion of the line being in Jasper National Park.
