We joined Driver John Middleditch and Fireman Ian Pearson on the footplate of BR Standard tank No. 80135 for a spectacular 18-mile steam run through North Yorkshire.
With a dozen cameras mounted on the engine and a film crew on the footplate, the widescreen video and DVD offer a new and exciting views of No. 80135 in action.
Departing from Pickering, the journey takes you north through 'Heartbeat' country before arriving at Grosmont station. With a running commentary as they work, John and Ian show just how they manage to drive and fire the engine up and down some of the steepest gradients on preserved railways.
