Steam Across the World - 1.
This is the home of the narrow gauge railway, often with massive locomotives (of traditional design and of the Beyer-Garratt type).
Locations depicting steam at work include Kenya, the famous Benguela Railway, Amboim, Lorenco Marques, the Biera Railway, Nacala (Atlantics) and Swaziland.
Among those featured locomotives are the wood-burning Garrats, the narrow gauge Bagnall, Orenstein & Koppel and Alco built engines on remote jungle lines. Also included are the massive 4-8-2s on the ore trains of Swaziland.
50 minutes.
