More footage of the well loved unique Swindon built steam locomotives. Filmed by famous cameramen Graham Whistler and Gordon Rushton. The programme includes over an hour of ex-GWR preserved steam locomotive action, along with a description of the locomotive types and their history.
A further half an hour of GWR steam locomotive action shows the Shakespeare Express' from Birmingham to Stratford-on-Avon with lineside shots, a footplate ride on former GWR Hall class 4-6-0 number 4965 'Rood Ashton Hall' and 'behind the scenes' shots taken at Tyseley depot.
