A reprint of this much sought after title which gives the history of the important rail networks that served the Dinorwic Quarries at Llanberis. The interest probably is a result of the railway's workshops being open to the public as a museum, the Padarn railway route beside the lake now being used by the Llanberis Lake Railway, and the whole scene being dominated by Dinorwic quarry.
Also included in this volume are the histories of a number of smaller systems and the Great Orme Tramway at Llandudno all told in Mr Boyd's own inimitable style.
