This is a compilation of two programmes which were previously issued in 1990 and 1991. They specialise in diesel locomotive hauled trains in the late 1980s. The first programme 'Video Profile - Locomotive Hauled Trains' features class 31s, 37s, 47s, and 50s at various locations across Britain from Scotland, to East Anglia and to the West Country. The second programme 'Video Profile - Rails to the Sea' specialises in the former Great Northern Railway (GNR) line to Skegness, where holiday extra trains were worked by class 20s, 31s, 37s, and 47s.
